retkellä

I was in here for couple of days. The city is Tampere. I lived there once for 16 years. For me it means red tiles, old factories, two huge lakes and the rapids in the middle of the city. And railways. For some reason this time i didn´t take any photo of the lakes or the rapids, just lots of railways.. i like railways.
And there is also family and friends. This time i had a very nice time with a friend and a cup of tea.

Kävin täälläkin, Tampereella. Kerran se oli minun kaupunkini jopa 16 vuotta. Mutta siitäkin on jo aikaa.
Nyt Tampere tuo mieleeni punaiset tiiliseinät, vanhat tehtaat ja tehtaanpiiput, järvenselät ja kosken keskellä kaupunkia. Ja rautatiet, joita pitkin pääsee niin pohjoiseen kuin eteläänkin. Minä sitten tykkään rautateistä.
Tampere on myös kaupunki jossa on aina sukua ja ystäviä. Tälläkin kertaa sain viettää hirmuisen mukavan hetken ystävän ja vihreän teen kanssa.

mushroom hunting

This mushroom i picked up from our window cill the other day.
Or ok, i made it. And as i am not any textilework miracle myself, i get so excited if i get something like this done, that i have to show it to everyone, hihi;)

Tämän sienen poimin ikkunalaudalta tässä eräänä päivänä. No ei vaines, ompelin sen ihan itse. Ja koska en ole mikään käsityöhirmu, olen aina iloisesti yllättynyt jos saan jotain tällaista aikaiseksi. Niin että sitä pitää sitten esitellä koko kylälle ja pitäjälle.

Far away on the fields we saw something white; swans! They gathered there together to plan their long journey to the south. Later the same day when we in the woods hunting mushrooms, we heard the honk-honk-honk choir, those swans flew over, heading to the south.
Bye bye swans, have a good journey! See you next spring again!

Nähtiin jotain valkoista kaukana pelloilla. Meni hetki ennenkuin hahmotimme pitkät kaulat; joutsenia! Siellä ne pitivät kokousta, suunnittelivat tulevaa matkaa, kuka ottaa ohjat ensimmäiset parisataa kilometriä, missä seuraavaksi levähdetään..
Myöhemmin samana päivänä kun oltiin metsästämässä sieniä, kuultiin honk-honk-honk-kuoro taivaalta. Siellä ne menivät, kaulat kohti etelää.
Hei hei joutsenet, turvallista matkaa! Nähdään ensi keväänä taas!

different shades of November

I spent two days in the countryside. It´s totally different November there. Much more shades of colors in the nature. But on the other hand, after the sunset, it was totally dark. Thing that one sometimes forgets in the city. And darkness nowdays comes way too early here in the north..
As souvenirs i got red cheeks and lots of mushrooms.

Vietin kaksi päivää näissä maisemissa. Maalla on ihan erilainen marraskuu. Näkee enemmän värejä ja vivahteita vaikka olisi harmaakin päivä. Mutta pimeän tullessa olikin sitten pilkkopimeää. Sen unohtaa hetkittäin kaupungin valojen alla.
Tuliaisina kaupunkiin punaiset posket ja kukkurallinen suppilovahveroita.

Today was a trip to the sea with little people. We two quite small and one smallest of all.

Tänään oli pienten ihmisten retki. Mietä oli kaksi pientä ja yksi kaikista pienin. Päivä oli mitä kaunein. Valohoitoa parhaimmillaan.

my paths

There are several routes in this city which i walk day by day. One day i took my small camera with me and took photos of one of my every day route. In the morning on my way to work, and in the evening on my way home. This is how it looks like.

Tässä kaupungissa on muutama reitti joita tallaan jo tottuneesti päivästä toiseen ees sun taas. Yhtenä aurinkoisena päivänä tällä viikolla otin pikku kameran mukaan ja napsin kuvia sieltä täältä, matkalla aamulla sinne ja illalla takaisin. Tältä näyttää yksi tutuista reiteistäni.

Last days i have been filming during the days and playing in the theater in the evenings. It has been a great fun. But when sunday finally came, i realized i´m really really tired..

She has made a new album again. I just love it.

Viime päivät olen kuvannut lyhytfilmiä ja iltaisin olen tietysti ollut teatterissa. On ollut ihan mahtavaa, mahtavien ihmisten kanssa työskentelemistä. Mutta kun sitten sunnuntai koitti, niin olinpa väsynyt. Hyvin hyvin väsynyt..

Hän on tehnyt uuden levyn. Tykkään kovasti.
